We offer extensive coverage across all major financial asset classes. Working in partnership with the largest participants in the OTC derivatives markets, we are constantly broadening and deepening our coverage.

POSITION

We are looking for a Senior Product Analyst to manage and develop valuations services across various asset classes. The ideal candidate will have strong quantitative and analytical skills and solid working knowledge of a wide variety of exchange traded and OTC derivatives contracts (swaps, options, futures etc) and to include good knowledge of exotics products. Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to communicate confidently with Middle Office and trading staff at major financial institutions.

The ideal candidate will have worked in a bank’s Valuation Control Group (or similar) for a minimum of 3 to 5 years, including at least 2 years covering equity derivatives products. They will have a deep understanding of accounting standards, valuation standards and banking regulations relating to IPV.

Other skills considered to be beneficial:

• A second language, e.g. French
• Programming skills such as VBA and / or python

Responsibilities include:

• Day-to-day service delivery including configuring and monitoring automated processes, reviewing data, resolving client queries on valuations, pricing inputs and methodology, and analysing price challenges.
• Analysis and feedback on data to improve quality.
• Holding regular meetings with clients including occasional international travel.
• Liaison with developers to specify and test software developments. Experience of the system development lifecycle would be useful but is not essential.
• Contributing to the design and implementation of new products and services.
• Keeping abreast of regulatory and market developments and ensuring services are maintained in line with current practice.

The role is likely to include occasionally working outside of standard office hours and flexible working can be considered as a result.
